Privacy Policy

Welcome to YallaGo. We built YallaGo as your AI running coach and take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you use the YallaGo mobile app and how we handle it.

YallaGo collects information needed to coach you through runs and show your progress:

• Profile & plan — Name, training preferences, body metrics you enter during onboarding (such as height, weight, and date of birth), and your generated training plan.
• Workout data — Run sessions, distance, pace, duration, and related stats recorded while you train.
• Location — GPS location during active runs to measure distance and pace. With your permission, location may continue in the background while a run is in progress and the screen is locked.
• Motion — Device motion sensors to estimate cadence and as a fallback when GPS is limited.
• App settings — Preferences such as voice coaching, theme, and units.

Most of this data is stored locally on your device.

We use the information above to:

• Build and adapt your training plan
• Guide runs with pacing cues and voice coaching
• Show progress, milestones, and weekly stats
• Manage subscriptions and restore purchases
• Understand product usage so we can improve the app

We do not sell your personal information.

Your profile, plan, run history, and app preferences are stored on your device using local storage (MMKV). Resetting the app from Settings clears this data on the device. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data unless your operating system retains app backups.

YallaGo offers optional premium subscriptions and purchases. Payments are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play — we never receive or store your payment card details.

We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements and restore purchases. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase status from the store. You can review RevenueCat's privacy practices at revenuecat.com.

We may use PostHog, a product analytics service, to understand how features are used (for example, when onboarding or a paywall is viewed). Analytics are used to improve the app, not to sell data. If analytics are enabled, events may include coarse usage metadata; we do not intentionally collect payment details through analytics.

YallaGo relies on a limited set of providers to operate:

• Apple App Store and Google Play — app distribution and billing
• RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management
• PostHog — optional product analytics

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. YallaGo does not integrate advertising networks.

YallaGo may request access to:

• Location — during runs for distance and pace tracking
• Motion & fitness — cadence and activity recognition
• Notifications — reminders and workout updates where enabled
• Microphone — only if a feature you use requires audio input

You can change permissions anytime in your device Settings.

YallaGo is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us through the app store listing and we will take appropriate steps.

Workout and profile data remain on your device until you reset the app or uninstall it. Purchase records are retained by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat according to their policies. You can reset app data at any time from Settings → Reset app.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the app and the “Last updated” date above will be revised. Continued use of YallaGo after changes means you accept the updated policy.
